John Cleese Assignment

Watch the video of John Cleese (of Monty Python)  speaking about creativity. Answer and explain the following questions completely in a typed paper. Be prepared to discuss them in class.

- What are the five things that Cleese says are required to be creative?

- What does he mean when he talks about  “closed mode" and  "open mode ”?

- What is the difference between the two types of time that he talks about?

- Why do you think he is making all of those lightbulb jokes? What’s his point?
